Jessica Barton at Mustang Week

.

Just when we were packing up and getting ready to leave, one of the companies that had come to Mustang Week were shooting Jessica with some Mustangs. Me, having my camera, could not restist taking a few shots of my own.

Perhaps I was foolish to assume she was just another pretty face there to make the cars look better, but a few minutes around her changed my perception completely. By this time of the late summer day, I had been out in the blistering sun since about 10 am, and it was quite humid. I was not in the mood to talk or be nice to anyone, and she had already been there for some time when I arrived in the morning. If anyone should have been at the boiling point, it shouldn't have been me, it should have been her.

Ms. Barton was not however and  to my astonishment, was still smiling, talking with some of the guys that were still walking around a basically empty lot at this point, signing autographs and posing for anyone who wanted to take a picture with or of her. I actually felt wrong when she walked up to me with a huge sincere smile and asked if I wanted to take more pictures after her shoot was over, since I assumed she probably just wanted to go home at this point.

Thank you Jessica, you are a true pro and a sweetheart.

P.S.   Anyone who thinks she is just a car show prop, go to YouTube and look up her Supra, it's more rocket than it is car, this girl is a bad ass!
